What will you be doing?
You’ll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything’s safe and sound. You’ll load up your vehicle with the HIAB, double-check it’s all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you’ll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.
Who you are

Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.

HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.

Employment Legal Services Advisor
Employment Legal Services Advisor – Head Office, Northampton (Full-time/Part-time options available)
At Travis Perkins, we’re looking for an experienced and detail-focused Employment Legal Services Advisor to join our Employment Legal Services team at Ryehill House, Northampton.
This is a specialist role responsible for managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and supporting the case management of Employment Tribunal claims, while providing clear, impartial and commercially focused employment law advice to the business.
Working closely with the Head of Employment Legal Services and key stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll play a vital role in protecting the business, ensuring legal compliance and delivering high-quality support on complex employment matters.
What you’ll be doing:

Acting as the dedicated point of contact for Data Subject Access Requests, managing requests from colleagues and former colleagues within strict legal timeframes

Identifying, retrieving, reviewing and redacting data (including email and chat searches) prior to secure disclosure

Preparing ET3 responses for Employment Tribunal claims, liaising with key witnesses to ensure accurate and robust submissions

Conducting early case assessments to evaluate merits and risk exposure

Managing tribunal orders, including preparing and exchanging lists of documents

Assisting with the preparation of company witness statements

Supporting at Employment Tribunal hearings, including note-taking as required

Providing proactive, impartial employment law advice in line with company policy

Ad hoc travel may be required to attend in-person Employment Tribunal hearings.
We’re looking for someone who:

Has Employment Law knowledge and previous Employee Relations experience within a similar sized organisation

Has experience managing Employment Tribunal claims

Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior level

Has strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset

Understands data protection principles and can interpret Employment Law confidently

National Sales Office Manager
Are you an experienced sales leader with a passion for driving profitable growth, developing people, and managing high value national accounts? This is a senior opportunity to lead a high performing National Sales Office for Travis Perkins.
As Sales Office Manager, you will take full ownership of National Sales Office performance, acting as a point of contact for key customers while leading, coaching, and inspiring a strong team to deliver against ambitious commercial targets.
The role
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining profitable National Sales Office relationships, negotiating and servicing national and trading agreements, and ensuring operational excellence across the National Sales Office. Working closely with group national customers, preferred suppliers, procurement, digital, credit, and regional sales teams, you will balance strategic leadership with hands-on commercial delivery.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering monthly and annual sales and profit targets in line with AOP

Leading and developing a team of around 17 colleagues, supporting engagement, performance, and succession planning

Managing national quotations and supply agreements from individual orders through to major contracts

Strengthening relationships with an established portfolio of Group National customers while identifying new growth opportunities

Working closely with preferred suppliers and internal procurement to maximise net trading arrangements

What you will do
As a Space Planner, you will be responsible for planning new branches, refits and traffic schemes for our group businesses.
- Produce high quality autocad drawings across multiple briefs and projects.
- Improve safety by designing the risk out with layout and line marking, including traffic management and implementing the high level of safety standards we set.
- Drive sales and profit per sq ft by optimising the best utilisation of space from a new build feasibility to racking/storage solutions.
- Improve the customer experience and speed of service through understanding the customer journey and deploying the business design principles.
- Work closely with all business units including hire, commercial & merchandising functions to ensure that all opportunities and trends are factored in.
- Survey of existing and new estates to build up the CAD library to include existing racking and product placements in warehouses, shops & yards.
- Working with the construction and facilities project managers to reduce costs through design without compromising on operational needs of the business.
- Work with our planning consultants to gain a successful planning consent for projects, some planning drawings will be required, also applying for your own planning apps for minor projects.

Key Accountabilities:
- Working in partnership with our service providers, you will ensure the efficient, timely, and precise delivery of outsourced HR administrative services for our Head Office and Merchant businesses
- Process remaining in-house HR administrative tasks for our Head Office and Merchanting businesses, ensuring an efficient, timely, and accurate service
- Proactively support line managers through the pre-hire process. This includes tracking progress, chasing approvals, supporting contractual queries, assisting with Right to Work document uploads, and ensuring the new starter is made an ‘active’ employee on their first day
- Provide proactive support to new starters (pre-hires) with the system aspects of their onboarding, including contract acceptance, adding personal details, and resetting passwords when necessary
- Provide ad-hoc (holiday/absence cover) administrative support to the Employee Relations and Employment Legal Services departments.
