Category Director
What’s involved in the role?
You will create and communicate clear messages to all levels within the organisation using data compiled from various sources. Analyse data to effectively plan for product mix improvements, and ensure proper and timely placement of promotional products. Develop recommendations and strategies regarding assigned categories and cross promotions with other categories. Develop impactful category analysis and consumer insights using a range of data sources to impact sales, including product placement recommendations.
You will create long term strategic plans regarding category and company growth, manage promotional and work with marketing on specific plans for assigned categories and vendors.

£65k+
Personal skills
You should have had an exposure to the sales function and an understanding of the importance of meeting Sales Targets.
Good business acumen and analytical skills, ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organisation.
Good negotiation and presentation skills and tech-savvy.
Result Oriented and strong in relationship management with clients and agencies
Entry requirements
Industry and category management experience, 10 years of experience working directly with category management functions.
Pathways in
Level 5 Advanced Diploma Procurement and Supply Apprenticeship.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
