Commercial Content Manager

What’s involved in the role?

This role is responsible for the execution of merchandising and marketing plans in line with the core brand strategies and implementing solutions that improve the operating model and provide features that support wider business opportunities. In addition, it identifies market insights via site analytics and regular competitor analysis to provide strategic recommendations to Senior team; capture and report market conditions to ensure that merchandising, content, and marketing relate to trends of Trade and Retail customers that inform trading plans; provide detailed analysis of key business drivers and KPI reporting to ensure contribution targets are achieved, whilst working collaboratively with other teams to secure supply chains, and deliver excellent service through the execution of co-operative plans.

Salary

£35k – £50k

Personal skills

You will need good writing and editing skills, time management skills, as well as good promotional skills. You will be analytical and a strategic planner. Ideally you would have project management experience.

Entry requirements

You’ll need at least three to four years of experience creating content before advancing to a content manager role. Many employers will look for a proven record of creating effective content.
