What’s involved in the role?

A Digital Marketing Manager works with marketing teams to promote a business or brand’s products and services through social media, websites and apps. Their main duties and responsibilities include: Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising.
Building and maintaining a brand’s presence across multiple social media channels Creating, executing and monitoring marketing campaign budgets. Collaborating with media and sales teams to improve marketing results.
Coordinating with the digital marketing team to identify innovative growth strategies.
Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns.

Salary

£30 – £50K

Personal skills

Creative skills, pro-active. Project management skills. Good communicator.

Entry requirements

Would expect to have a degree – eg creative, digital media related, marketing. Knowledge of website creation/analtyics eg wordpress, GA4 etc.

Pathways in

Creative qualifications, min 2-3 years experience working in digital marketing.
