Yard Supervisor

What’s involved in the role?

As a Yard Supervisor, you will be expected to assist the Manager in delivering the budgeted sales and margin targets as a minimum and assist the Manager in controlling the stock at the agreed levels and ensuring that the core range is always available. You will ensure high standards of yard / warehouse security as well as all the relevant vehicle and FLT safety checks are carried out and correctly documented with defects reported immediately. Deliver great customer service and ensure that the branch standards are maintained.

Salary

Up to £30k

Personal skills

You will be good at building relationships, have good written and verbal communication skills and be a great problem solver. Ability to manage your own and others time effectively and have a good attention to detail. Health & Safety minded with staff and customers safety put first.

Entry requirements

Ideally with 5 years minimum previous yard experience.

From yard assistant/ Trade counter or other sector similar role.
