Area Sales Manager
What’s involved in the role?
As an Area Sales Manager you will be a focused Sales Manager first and foremost, constantly striving for improvement through proactivity and understanding customer requirements. You will deliver and exceed targeted sales and gross profit targets for new and existing business. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, being able to act independently with the confidence to make decisions, control meetings and presentations effectively.
As a subject matter expert. you will have excellent product knowledge, take advantage of new opportunities as presented, and be competitive in all levels of sales and sales management, able to initiate and close a sale through expertise in negotiation.
You will be able to work remotely and under pressure to deliver on company expectations and have excellent time management skills and the ability to balance your working week between key account management and new business activities.
Salary
£38-£55k
Personal skills
Supportive, good communicator, able to build long lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
Entry requirements
Previous sales experience within the building materials sector and have key account management experience. Proven ability to deliver sales growth.
Full UK driving licence.
