What’s involved in the role?

A telesales/call centre operative, also sometimes called a call centre representative or agent, is the person you speak with on the phone when you contact a company for a quote, to check on stock availability, customer service, technical support, or for ongoing sales enquiries. Their tasks can vary depending on the specific company.

£24-28k

Personal skills

You will have clarity in communicating. Technical proficiency and good understanding in/of Products/Services. You will be patient, be empathetic and a natural problem-solver with flexibility. You will be a good listener and well organised.

Entry requirements

Some GCSEs, usually including English and Maths as a minimum requirement.
