Key Account Manager
What’s involved in the role?
Working with businesses, managing accounts internally and externally, coordinating sales and any relevant marketing activity. To proactively manage and grow sales within Buying Groups and National Merchant chains, conducting regular business reviews with key accounts to ensure alignment and identification of new opportunities.
To manage and increase sales implementing agreed plans to achieve margin and volume targets.
To be responsible for the negotiation and winning of new contracts with key accounts.
Salary
£30-£40k
Personal skills
Possess a clear and precise telephone manner, works well in a team and solo, and can build relationships quickly. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to present to others. Self-motivated and inquisitive. Strong problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure.
Entry requirements
Previous sales experience within the building materials sector and have key account management experience. Proven ability to deliver sales grow
Full UK driving licence.
